Finely braided firm flat waxed cotton cord, 1mm wide. This cord knots well, is pleasant to use and soft on the neck. This cord does not burn well as it is cotton. Use clear drying glue or nail polish to seal the ends. Waxing makes the thread stiffer, more water and mildew resistant, and less stretchy. You may want to add additional wax yourself using beeswax, which we also sell.
